Senior Accountant

About the Role

Join the Finance team to manage general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations across Cresmora's real estate portfolio and corporate entities.

Responsibilities

• checkPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• checkManage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• checkSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the property portfolio
• checkAssist with coordination of external audits and tax filings
• checkEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
• checkPartner with property management and asset management teams on property-level accounting
• checkMentor junior accounting staff and support process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• check4+ years of progressive accounting experience; real estate accounting experience strongly preferred
• checkBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• checkStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• checkExperience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
• checkHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
