Payroll Manager

About the Role

Own end-to-end payroll operations for Cresmora's growing employee base, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across all offices.

Responsibilities

• checkManage full-cycle payroll processing for all employees, including multi-state compliance
• checkEnsure accurate calculation and timely remittance of wages, taxes, and benefits deductions
• checkMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• checkPartner with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll data, headcount, and general ledger entries
• checkManage relationships with payroll service providers and audit payroll systems for accuracy
• checkPrepare payroll reports, journal entries, and support year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s)
• checkContinuously improve payroll processes, controls, and documentation

Qualifications

• check5+ years of payroll management experience, ideally in a multi-state organization
• checkBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• checkCPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred
• checkStrong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday)
• checkHigh attention to detail and strong understanding of payroll tax compliance
• checkExcellent organizational and cross-functional communication skills
